These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bookkeeper Connect (the “Service”), operated by Cognyon. By creating an account, connecting an integration, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Bookkeeper Connect synchronizes worked hours from Connecteam into QuickBooks Online. It reads time-clock data from Connecteam and creates or updates Time Activity records in the connected QuickBooks Online company, with scheduling, observability, and error reprocessing.
2. Accounts and responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the connection settings (API keys, selected time clock, employee mapping, schedule) you configure.
- You must have the authority to connect the Connecteam and QuickBooks Online accounts you link to the Service.
3. Third-party services
The Service integrates with Intuit QuickBooks Online and Connecteam. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, and you agree to comply with them. We are not responsible for changes, interruptions, or data provided by those third-party services.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law or the terms of Intuit or Connecteam;
- access data you are not authorized to access;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of the Service.
5. Data and privacy
Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. Data obtained from QuickBooks Online is used solely to provide the Service for the benefit of the Customer who authorized the connection, and is never sold or shared with unrelated third parties.
6. Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Synchronization depends on the availability and correctness of the Connecteam and QuickBooks Online APIs.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognyon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect your integrations at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, stored access and refresh tokens are removed.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
